About the role

Join Applab to build and ship features on production web applications. You'll work as a full-stack developer, React frontend and backend, with regular supervision but significant ownership of your work. This is a hands-on role where you'll contribute real code to real projects.

What you'll do

  • Build frontend features
     in React/TypeScript and backend APIs in
  • Work with database flows
    , specifically PostgreSQL, authentication, and Azure cloud services.
  • Ship end-to-end features
    , including writing tests and fixing bugs.
  • Deploy code
     through CI/CD pipelines and participate in code reviews.
  • Communicate
     progress and blockers; work independently with regular check-ins.

What we're looking for

  • Location:
     Based in Qatar and eligible to work locally as an intern.
  • Tech Stack:
     Full-stack capable: React/TypeScript + ; experience is a plus.
  • Database Skills:
     Comfortable with databases (SQL/PostgreSQL) and REST API development.
  • Workflow:
     Familiar with Git workflows and able to work from requirements with minimal hand-holding.
  • Soft Skills:
     Self-motivated, communicates clearly, and asks for help when needed.

Nice to have

  • Experience deploying to cloud platforms (
    Azure, AWS
    , or similar).
  • Exposure to authentication patterns (
    JWT, OAuth
    ) and secure coding basics.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks (
    Jest, Playwright
    ) or CI/CD pipelines.
