Our client is a leading construction company in Qatar, recognized for delivering high-quality building and infrastructure projects across the region. With a strong commitment to excellence, safety, and innovation, they continue to play a key role in shaping Qatar's urban landscape.

They are currently seeking a qualified QA/QC Civil Engineer for a 6-month (extendable) project based in Al Khor.

Location: Al Khor, Qatar

Contract Duration: 6 Months (Extendable)

Working Days & Hours: Saturday to Thursday, 10 hours per day (including breaks)

Salary: QAR 6,000 + QAR 1,000 Transportation Allowance

About the Role:

The QA/QC Civil Engineer will be responsible for ensuring all construction activities meet the required quality standards and project specifications. The ideal candidate should have solid technical expertise in civil engineering works and hands-on experience in implementing effective quality assurance and control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections and quality checks for all civil and structural activities on site.
• Ensure all materials and workmanship comply with approved drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
• Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, inspection reports, and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Coordinate with the site team, subcontractors, and client representatives on all quality-related matters.
• Implement and monitor quality assurance procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support testing, auditing, and verification of materials and construction activities.
• Contribute to achieving high-quality deliverables within the defined schedule and budget.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a QA/QC Civil Engineer in building construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction quality standards, codes, and practices.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced project environment.
