Job Description – Senior QA/QC Mechanical Engineer (Oil & Gas)

Location: Qatar

Experience Required: 12+ years

Industry: Oil & Gas / EPC / Shutdown

Preference: Immediate joiner

Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA/QC Mechanical Engineer to oversee all quality activities for Oil & Gas projects in Qatar.

Responsibilities

· Lead and manage QA/QC activities for mechanical works in Oil & Gas projects.

· Review and approve ITPs, method statements, material submittals, and quality documents.

·

· Supervise QC inspectors and ensure work progresses as per project quality plans.

· Participate in pre-commissioning and commissioning quality activities.

· Support implementation of ISO 9001 and project QMS.

Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.

· 12+ years' experience in QA/QC Mechanical roles in the Oil & Gas sector.

· Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, welding processes, and international standards.

· CSWIP 3.1 / 3.2 or equivalent is required

· Excellent communication and documentation skills.

· Immediate joiners preferred.

· Must be available in Qatar with valid documents.
