We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance. The ideal candidate will handle payroll, audits, and taxation while ensuring accuracy, transparency, and efficiency in all financial processes. Experience in trading or multi-entity operations is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full accounting operations, including general ledger, payables, receivables, and payroll.
  • Prepare accurate monthly and annual financial reports and statements.
  • Monitor budgets, cash flow, and financial performance to support management decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and audit requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records and confidentiality of all financial data.
  • Coordinate with auditors and other departments to resolve discrepancies.
  • Supervise and guide junior accounting staff.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of accounting experience, including senior-level responsibility.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and reporting standards.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Locally available in Qatar with a valid visa and QID (preferred).

Preferred Qualifications & Qualities:

  • Experience in trading, multi-currency transactions, and intercompany accounting
  • Skills in managing cash flow, budgeting, fixed assets, and improving financial controls
  • Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, or payroll-related credentials
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, mentoring, and reporting skills
  • Proficient in English; Arabic language skills are a plus
