Job Title: Senior Project Engineer

Location: Qatar

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise and leadership in offshore oil & gas projects, particularly in jacket and topsides installation. You will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) activities while ensuring compliance with project requirements, industry standards, and HSE protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate EPC activities for offshore jacket and topsides installation.
  • Oversee planning and execution of offshore construction campaigns, including heavy lifts, loadout, transport, installation, hookup, and commissioning.
  • Manage brownfield modification works with a focus on safety and minimizing operational disruption.
  • Interface with contractors, marine spread providers, fabrication yards, and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Review and approve project deliverables such as method statements, lifting/installation procedures, and risk assessments.
  • Ensure strict adherence to offshore permit-to-work systems and HSE requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • BSc Degree in Engineering (mandatory).
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in similar roles within offshore oil & gas projects.
  • Proven track record in offshore EPC activities, including jackets, topsides, and brownfield modifications.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE standards, industry codes, and offshore construction best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
