JobOpenings – Qatar Structural Fitter (Steel WorksDepartment) Job Location: Qatar Duty Hours: 8 Hours per day Age Limit: Below 40 Years Gender: Male Only Muslim Candidate No. Position – 5 Duty Hours: Standard Eight (08) Hours /26 days Salary: QAR 1,570 per month Job Overview:The Structural Fitter (Steel WorksDepartment) will be responsible for fitting, assembling, andinstalling structural components used in shipyard and steel fabricationprojects. The role involves interpreting technical drawings, ensuring precisionfitting, and maintaining quality standards in all fabrication and installationwork within the steel workshop or on -site.Job Role& Responsibilities:· Read and interpret engineering drawings,blueprints, and fabrication sketches.· Fit and assemble structural steel componentsaccording to project specifications.· Measure, cut, and align metal sections usingappropriate tools and machines.· Perform tack welding, grinding, and finishingoperations as required.· Ensure proper alignment and levelness ofstructures during installation.· Work closely with welders and fabricators tocomplete assemblies accurately.· Conduct quality checks to ensure all fittingsmeet safety and design standards.· Maintain tools, machines, and workspace in goodworking condition.· Follow safety procedures and wear appropriatePPE at all times.· Support supervisors and engineers with on -sitefitting and repair work when needed. RequirementsQualifications & Experience:· Education: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical orStructural Fabrication.· Experience: Minimum 3–5 years as a StructuralFitter in shipyard, construction, or industrial fabrication sectors.· Must have experience in steel fabrication andinstallation work.· Gulf experience preferred.RequiredSkills:· Strong knowledge of structural fitting andfabrication techniques.· Ability to read and understand technicaldrawings accurately.· Proficient in using measuring tools, grinders,and fitting instruments.· Good coordination and teamwork skills.· Awareness of safety standards and workshoppractices.· Ability to work independently under minimalsupervision.
