Job Title: Planning EngineerJob Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Planning Engineer to join our project team. The Planning Engineer will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within approved budgets. Arabic language proficiency is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project in accordance with contract requirements.
  • Establish project baselines, including schedule, manpower, and resource loading.
  • Monitor project progress, identify variances, and prepare recovery plans when required.
  • Prepare periodic progress reports, S-curves, cash flow forecasts, and look-ahead schedules.
  • Coordinate with project managers, construction teams, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure alignment with the approved schedule.
  • Analyze delays and prepare Extension of Time (EOT) submissions and supporting documentation when necessary.
  • Review subcontractor schedules and ensure consistency with the master program.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide planning-related inputs and recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual, technical, and reporting requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline).
  • Minimum 3–7 years of relevant experience as a Planning Engineer (experience level can be adjusted).
  • Strong proficiency in Primavera P6; MS Project experience is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of project controls, construction methodologies, and contract management.
  • Experience in preparing claims, delay analysis, and EOT submissions is preferred.
  • Arabic speaking is a plus; English proficiency is required.
