Role Description
This is a temporary on-site role for an Electrical Quantity Surveyor based in Doha, Qatar. The role involves preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), managing cost planning and control throughout the duration of projects, and analyzing project expenses. The Electrical Quantity Surveyor will also be responsible for cost reporting tasks, ensuring project budgets are maintained, and supporting financial decision-making during the project's completion.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Cost Control and effective Cost Management
- Proficiency in preparing and analyzing Bills of Quantities (BOQ)
- Experience in Cost Planning and Cost Reporting for MEP or electrical projects
- Attention to detail and analytical skills for accurate cost estimations
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to liaise with project teams and stakeholders
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for cost estimation and reporting
- Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Prior experience in MEP industry and familiarity with Qatar regulations is an advantage
