Al Sraiya Hotels & Hospitality Group, established in 2015, manages a diverse portfolio of hotels both locally in Qatar and internationally. The group owns five internationally renowned hotels in Qatar, including brands such as Millennium Hotels & Resorts and InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), alongside a locally branded property. Role Description

This is a full-time Chief Accountant role based on-site in Doha, Qatar. The Chief Accountant will oversee the financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations. Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining financial records, managing budgets, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and coordinating internal and external audits. Additionally, the Chief Accountant will monitor accounts payable and receivable, support strategic financial planning, and ensure flawless execution of financial policies and processes.

Qualifications

  • Competency in Financial Reporting, Budgeting, and Auditing
  • Proficiency in Accounting Standards, Financial Compliance, and Regulatory Practices
  • Strong Analytical, Organizational, and Problem-Solving Skills
  • Expert knowledge of Accounting Software, Financial Systems, and related tools
  • Excellent Communication and Leadership Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent professional certification is a plus)
  • Proven professional experience in accounting and financial management
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry financial practices is highly preferred
