HSE Officer (Oil & Gas) – Qatar Energy Approved

Location: Qatar

Job Type: Short Term contract (Need local candidates with freelance visa)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced HSE Officer with proven Oil & Gas industry experience and valid Qatar Energy (QP) HSE Officer approval. The role involves ensuring compliance with company and Qatar Energy HSE standards to maintain a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor HSE procedures and Qatar Energy standards on-site.
  • Conduct daily inspections, risk assessments, and toolbox talks.
  • Support permit-to-work (PTW) activities and enforce safe work practices.
  • Report and investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
  • Prepare HSE reports and coordinate with Qatar Energy auditors and site representatives.

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) – mandatory.
  • Valid Qatar Energy (QP) HSE Officer approval – required.
  • Minimum 5 years' HSE experience in Oil & Gas (construction, maintenance, or operations).
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
  • Strong communication, observation, and reporting skills.
