Job Description

Position: Planner / Cost Engineer

Reports To: Project Engineer / Program Manager

Job Purpose:

To deliver effective cost control, planning, and scheduling support for Leak Management Program projects, ensuring that all financial and timeline objectives are successfully achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS), and manpower plans.
  • Prepare cost estimates, establish budgets, and monitor project expenditures to ensure cost efficiency.
  • Produce regular reports on project progress, cost performance, and schedule adherence.
  • Support project teams in conducting risk analysis, forecasting, and variance reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with company financial policies, project controls procedures, and industry standards.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in project planning and cost engineering within the oil & gas industry.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and cost management software tools.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and reporting skills.
