Role Description

This full-time on-site role based in Doha, Qatar, requires a Chemical Application Engineer responsible for the technical design, application, and optimization of water treatment programs. The role includes providing technical support to clients, conducting on-site analytical testing, troubleshooting system inefficiencies, and ensuring the proper implementation of water treatment technologies. Additionally, the engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs and align with METICHEM's sustainability goals.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Technical Support and Testing for water treatment applications.
  • Skills in Software Development related to monitoring and optimizing water treatment systems.
  • Knowledge of Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering principles, particularly in water and wastewater treatment applications.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment and manage on-site operations effectively.
  • Experience in the water treatment or related industry is a plus, with familiarity in advanced chemical technologies and system assurance methods.
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Environmental, or a related engineering field is required.

Experience in steel industry as a chemical engineer is a must.
