The Civil Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for estimating, cost control, quantity takeoff, and preparation of project-related measurements in accordance with civil engineering plans for an active construction project. The role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in quantity extraction (AutoCAD/PDF), and familiarity with industry-standard measurement methods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform quantity takeoffs from AutoCAD drawings or PDF plans.

  • Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and material quantity reports.

  • Review civil drawings and specifications for accurate measurements.

  • Support tendering, procurement, and contract administration activities.

  • Monitor project costs and report variances as needed.

  • Assist in preparing progress claims and payment certificates.

  • Coordinate with site engineers, procurement, and project managers.

  • Ensure compliance with CESMM3 and project measurement standards.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.

  • 5-8 years of experience (preferably in infrastructure projects).

  • Strong proficiency in:

    • AutoCAD takeoff or PDF drawing takeoff

    • CESMM3 measurement standard

    • MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Good communication skills in English.
