We are seeking an experienced and proactive QCDD-approved MEP Engineer.

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing all QCDD approval processes, conducting system audits, and ensuring full compliance with Qatar Civil Defense Department (QCDD) regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform internal audits and inspections to ensure compliance with QCDD standards.
  • Prepare and submit all drawings, documents, and material approvals required by QCDD.
  • Coordinate with QCDD inspectors and project stakeholders for approval visits and inspections.
  • Verify the proper installation and functionality of fire alarm, firefighting, emergency lighting, and ventilation systems.
  • Identify and rectify non-compliance issues prior to official QCDD inspections.
  • Maintain accurate records of submissions, approvals, and inspection reports.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to project teams on QCDD and NFPA code requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Fire Engineering.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience handling QCDD-related projects in Qatar.
  • Valid QCDD Engineer Certification is mandatory
  • In-depth knowledge of NFPA standards, QCDD codes, and authority procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and electrical systems.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
