Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Orthopedic Technical Sales Specialist to drive sales and provide clinical support for our premium range of Medacta orthopedic solutions (knee, hip, spine) and Ames products (foot & ankle). The role requires a strong background in orthopedic implants and instruments, as well as the ability to build strong relationships with surgeons, hospitals, and procurement teams in a competitive market (Zimmer, Stryker, and others).

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell Medacta knee, hip, and spine solutions and Ames foot & ankle products to surgeons and healthcare providers.
  • Provide technical expertise and intraoperative support in the operating room during procedures.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with orthopedic surgeons, nurses, and hospital decision-makers.
  • Conduct product presentations, workshops, and training sessions for surgeons and medical staff.
  • Achieve sales targets and expand market share against competitors (Zimmer, Stryker, etc.).
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and identify new business opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.
  • Support tender submissions, quotations, and follow-up on contracts.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to organize conferences, exhibitions, and events.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Sciences, Nursing, or related field.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of sales/technical experience in orthopedic implants (knee, hip, spine, foot & ankle).
  • Strong knowledge of orthopedic surgical techniques and OR protocols.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in the medical devices sector.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in the operating theater and provide real-time technical support.
  • Valid Qatar driving license preferred.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
