Manager Cyber Security

Job Purpose:

In this role you would be part of the Cyber Security team working directly under the Senior Manager Cyber Security Operations to support Cyber Security Tools evaluation, implementation and management. The role will also contribute to Security Incident Management, Compliance, Identity & Access Management tools as well as regular Red Team activities such as Penetration Testing and Vulnerability assessments.

Responsibilities:

• Manage IT Cyber Security resource allocation and the timely deliverables of the Cyber Security projects under the portfolio of the role.

• Review and monitor project timelines and manage ongoing project support systems to ensure appropriate controls and tools are selected and operationalized within the budget timelines.

• Take ownership and manage a team of technical experts that administrate the cyber security products and solutions.

• Drive implementation of cybersecurity technologies for Endpoint security, application security, network security and server security.

• Monitor and manage the activity during an incident and approaches to detect, respond to, and eradicate advance threats along with improve overall time to respond and eliminate threats through active collaboration in timely manner.

• Ensure that Red Team activities including vulnerability assessments and penetration tests are conducted with regular reporting of the status to the Senior Manager Cyber Security Operations.

• Ensure that all security findings are reported to the Line Manager and the IT team with clear criticality ratings. Monitor and review all activities required to meet Cyber Security Compliance such as PCI-DSS, Qatar 2022, IS027001 by ensuring the right tools and controls are in place.

• Support the Senior Manager Cyber Security Operations in the planning and design of IT Cyber security products and solutions for Qatar Airways and its Subsidiary organisations to protect the organization from internal and external Cyber security threats and thereby to protect company vital information base.

• Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Line Manager.

About You:

• High School Qualification I Vocational Qualification Diploma or Equivalent (Type of Diploma Based on Role) with Minimum 9 years of job-related experience OR Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 8 years of job-related experience

• Experience with Aviation Cyber Security Frameworks

• Experience in IT Compliance, Cyber Security Risk & Governance, Control assessment sand Governance reporting.

• Experience with managing Cyber Security over a large geographically dispersed technology environment Command of English language.

• Advanced capabilities on Application Security and technologies thereof.

• Advanced capabilities on Network Security and technologies thereof.

• Proficiency on Endpoint Security capabilities.

• Security Monitoring and Operations capabilities.

• Incidence handling, forensic analysis and evidence handling capabilities.

• Cloud Security.

• Managerial skills - Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinate's skills. Ability to foster teamwork among team members.

Preferred

• One or more of the following certifications

• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)

• Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM)

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)

• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
