  • Fabricate metal components using cutting, grinding, and shaping techniques to meet project specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to troubleshoot design issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Ensure a safe work environment by adhering to all safety regulations and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including time tracking and material usage for project management.
  • Assist in training junior welders or apprentices in welding techniques and best practices to enhance team skills.
  • Stay current with industry advancements and new welding technologies to continuously improve fabrication processes.

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in a fabrication shop or manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in multiple welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding for various metals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to identify and resolve welding-related issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong collaboration skills.
  • Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods while working.
  • Detail-oriented mindset to ensure accuracy in measurements and adherence to project specifications.
