JOB SUMMARY 

The Nurse – Occupational Health & Wellbeing is responsible for integrating wellness and clinical services within Sidra's Occupational Health Department. The incumbent involves in providing comprehensive clinical care, designing and implementing wellness programs, and ensuring regulatory compliance with JCI and MoPH standards. 

The Nurse works closely with both the Occupational Health team and various stakeholders to deliver effective wellness initiatives, health promotion campaigns, and health surveillance services. S/he will also support the Occupational Health Nurses in clinical activities such as blood collection, vaccination programs, and routine health assessments, as well as providing confidential emotional support to staff through the Tamini Care for the Caregiver peer responder program.

KEY ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Leads, coordinates, and implements wellness programs and activities aimed at improving the health and wellbeing of Sidra employees.
  • Administers immunizations, conducts health surveillance, and manages staff injuries.
    Designs and delivers health promotion campaigns targeting employee wellness, stress management, and physical/mental health.
  • Ensures adherence to JCI and MoPH standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements in all aspects of occupational health and wellness. Monitors and maintains records of compliance for audits and inspections.
  • Contributes to workplace safety initiatives and regulatory compliance, including infection control, TB testing, and health screenings.
  • Provides non-judgmental, confidential emotional support to employees following traumatic or stressful events as part of the Tamini Care for the Caregiver peer responder program.
  • Collects and maintains data related to health surveillance, wellness program participation, and injury management. Tracks and reports key performance indicators (KPIs) related to wellness and clinical outcomes. Analyzes data to identify trends, drives program improvements, and ensures alignment with departmental goals.
  • Supports the Occupational Health Nurse and collaborates in clinical activities, including blood collection, administering vaccinations, and performing routine health assessments.
  • Works with other departments (HR, Infection Control, and other stakeholders) to ensure integrated wellness strategies are effectively implemented.
  • Provides training and education on wellness topics, occupational health, and safety procedures for employees and new staff.
  • Actively contributes to the continuous (quality) improvement of wellness and occupational health services, ensuring alignment with Sidra's goals and JCI standards.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of policies and standard operating procedures for wellness services.
  • Adheres to Sidra's standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest policies.
  • Adheres to and promotes Sidra's Values.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS – SELECTION CRITERIA

 ESSENTIALPREFERREDEducationBachelor's degree in Nursing ExperienceMinimum of 3 years' experience in Occupational Health or Clinical Nursing.Experience in health promotion, wellness program management, or regulatory compliance in healthcare settings.Certification and Licensure

Valid professional nursing license in country of origin

Meets licensing requirements of the State of Qatar
