TS Systems Engineer

About Your Job:

You will be Working as part of the IT End-User Technology team that delivers complete solutions to end user based on their business requirements for hardware & software.

You will be responsible for gathering requirements from Business for RFQ/RFP/RFI/RFT's. Identify current and future opportunities by establishing a personal rapport with IT Account Managers to understand their IT requirements. You will review and maintain Vendor Portfolio and assist Procurement department in Sourcing End User IT technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interacting with different business units within the organization to gather detailed requirements and translate conceptual Business' operational requirements to technical Bill of Quantity through selection of right product and implementation of best practices.

• Preparing documentation related to RFQ/RFP/RFI/RFT's in liaison with QR Procurement.

• Liaise with QR Contract team, time to time for Cost approval process management, contractual amendments, and procurement of IT assets through e-sourcing portal

• Conducting technical evaluation, product comparison and formal contractual processes

• Keeping regular tabs on implemented projects by conducting periodic reviews, identifying & mitigating risks, tracking project progress and submitting status report to management.

• Providing yearly budget forecast to management based on capital and operational expenditure.

• Responsible for assisting business unit by providing strategic solutions which will achieve Business goals

• Maintaining good relationship with vendors for efficient delivery of products, support and services.

• Study Market and evolving technologies which can align with Organisation's strategy and achieve cost saving and enhance user experience

• Implementation / Roll out of selected technology / product

• Managing all procurement for QR-IT in line with the User Managed Procurement policy

• Tracking End User Contracts & Initiate renewals / technology refresh

• Developing and sustaining long-standing relationships with company-approved vendors

• Meeting with suitable vendors to assess their products, inquire about their services, and communicate any product or service-related concerns.

• Diploma / Bachelor's degree with minimu 3 years of job - related experience.

• To be successful in this role you should have been part of a team involved in Multi-Million Dollar Procurement, performing role of Technical Evaluation; You should have ability to prepare Business Case, Technical Evaluation report and Tender Package as per Organisation template; You should keep yourself updated with current and emerging Technologies in End User Technology domain.

• You should have excellent negotiation skills and ability to maintain comprehensive Vendor contacts for competitive pricing while following Organisation's Code of Ethics.

• You should have expert level skill in productivity tools like MS Excel, Powerpoint, etc. You should have the ability to gather and analyze data and to work with statistics.

• You should be Self-motivated, communicate effectively with technical / non-technical personnel including senior management and have strong attention to detail.

• You must hold a Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Computer Sciences or equivalent stream with minimum 4 years of experience in End User IT Technology domain and preferably involved in IT Procurement related activities.
