We are looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator who is responsible for safely and efficiently operating a variety of heavy machinery used in construction, excavation, roadwork, mining, or other industrial projects. This role involves following project plans, maintaining equipment, adhering to safety rules, and working closely with site supervisors and crew members.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, graders, backhoes, forklifts, cranes, and other specialized equipment.
  • Perform digging, grading, trenching, loading, and material-moving tasks according to project requirements.
  • Conduct pre-operation and post-operation inspections of equipment to ensure safe working conditions.
  • Monitor equipment performance and report any mechanical issues or needed repairs.
  • Follow site plans, blueprints, and instructions from supervisors to complete daily tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, equipment usage, and fuel consumption.
  • Assist with site preparation, including clearing land, leveling surfaces, and removing debris.
  • Comply with all safety protocols, workplace policies, and regulatory standards.
  • Communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure coordinated operations.
  • Support general labor tasks when equipment operation is not required.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience operating heavy equipment in construction, mining, or industrial environments.
  • Valid heavy equipment operator certification or license (as required by local regulations).
  • Strong understanding of equipment controls, maintenance, and safety procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret site plans, grade stakes, and basic blueprints.
  • Good physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
  • Excellent attention to detail and safety awareness.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to climb, sit, and operate machinery for extended periods.
  • Lift and carry up to 25–50 kg as required.
  • Work in noisy, dusty, or outdoor environments.

Work Environment:

  • Construction sites, roadwork zones, mining areas, industrial facilities, or remote project sites.
  • May require overtime, night shifts, or travel depending on project needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR3, QAR4,000.00 per month
