Responsibilities

  • Perform aluminium welding using GTAW (TIG) and/or GMAW (MIG) processes.

  • Read and interpret welding symbols, drawings, and WPS.

  • Ensure welding work complies with approved WPS, PQR, and ITP requirements.

  • Carry out welding on aluminium structures, piping, plates, and sections.

  • Conduct visual inspections of completed welds and rectify defects as required.

  • Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper use of consumables.

  • Follow HSSE rules and safe work practices at all times.

  • Work in coordination with supervisors, QC inspectors, and fitters.

  • Maintain productivity and quality standards as per project schedule.

Requirements
Qualifications & Certifications

  • ITI / Technical Certificate in Welding or equivalent.

  • Valid Aluminium Welding Certification (AWS / ISO / ASME or equivalent).

  • Certification in TIG and/or MIG aluminium welding is mandatory.

  • Knowledge of aluminium grades and welding consumables.

  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience as an Aluminium Welder.

  • Proven experience in shipyards, marine structures, offshore modules, or fabrication yards.
