Job Objective:

The Internal Auditor is responsible for performing audit activities across various departments and operations within the organization to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures. This role involves identifying operational and financial weaknesses and risks, evaluating internal controls, and providing recommendations to enhance efficiency, strengthen control mechanisms, and support the integrity of financial and administrative operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute approved annual internal audit plans in accordance with professional standards.
  • Review and analyze internal systems, policies, and procedures to ensure their effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Assess compliance with financial and administrative regulations and relevant laws.
  • Examine financial records and accounting documents to verify accuracy and transparency.
  • Identify weaknesses in internal control systems and propose appropriate improvements.
  • Prepare audit reports that include observations, findings, and recommendations for submission to senior management.
  • Follow up on the implementation of recommendations and ensure corrective actions are taken by the departments concerned.
  • Participate in assessing organizational risks and developing mechanisms to mitigate them.
  • Access all financial and administrative records and systems within the company.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all information and data reviewed during work.
  • Update audit manuals and policies in line with new developments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in internal or external auditing.
  • Good understanding of risk management and internal control systems.
  • Knowledge of local laws and regulations related to governance and compliance.
  • Proficiency in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
  • Proficient in using computer applications and accounting software (such as Excel and ERP Systems).
