Role Overview:

Avconexpo Consulting is hiring an experienced
Project Head
to lead the
Testing & Commissioning (T&C)
and
Integrated Performance Testing (IPT)
phases of a large-scale
edible oil refinery project
in Qatar.

The Project Head will be the
single point of accountability
for project execution, planning, and coordination between the client/PMC, technical teams, and documentation groups.

Responsibility:

  • Lead and manage the entire project execution during T&C and IPT phases.
  • Act as the
    primary interface with the Client/PMC
    , ensuring all technical, quality, and safety standards are met.
  • Approve commissioning plans, documentation, test schedules, and reporting formats.
  • Supervise Technical Head, Documentation Head, and functional teams (mechanical, electrical, process, instrumentation).
  • Monitor project progress, identify bottlenecks, and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Ensure full compliance with edible oil processing standards and plant performance requirements.
  • Oversee training, final handover, and certification processes.

Requirements:

  • Qualification:
    M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience:
    Minimum
    15 years in edible oil refinery projects
    , with strong exposure to
    plant commissioning, operation, or project management
    .
  • Proven expertise in
    commissioning, project management, and coordination
    for edible oil, palm oil, or seed-oil refinery plants.
  • Strong understanding of process equipment (neutralization, bleaching, deodorization, fractionation).
  • Excellent communication and client-handling skills.
  • Prior GCC/Qatar project experience preferred.
