Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Civil Engineer to join our team in Doha, Qatar. As a Civil Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, planning, and overseeing various infrastructure projects in the region. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of Qatar's built environment while working with a dynamic and innovative team.

• Develop and review civil engineering designs for a wide range of projects, including buildings, roads, bridges, and water systems
• Conduct site investigations and analyze data to inform project designs and solutions
• Prepare detailed project plans, technical specifications, and cost estimates
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, contractors, and other engineers
• Utilize advanced software tools for design, modeling, and analysis
• Manage project timelines and resources to meet client expectations and deadlines
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members
• Participate in client meetings and presentations to communicate project progress and solutions
• Stay updated on industry trends and innovative engineering practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent qualification recognized in Qatar
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering projects
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, and other relevant engineering software
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Qatar
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multicultural environment
• Valid driver's license for site visits and project inspections
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Experience with OpenRoads, SignCAD, GuideSign, and AutoTURN software
• Familiarity with Qatar's construction standards and practices
• Proven track record of successful project delivery in the Middle East region
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and leading project teams
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
