Equestrian Sales Representative

We are looking for a driven and knowledgeable
Equestrian Sales Representative
to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong sales skills, a deep understanding of equine products and care, and a genuine passion for the equestrian world.

This role involves selling horse-related products — including tack, feed, supplements, veterinary supplies — and supporting clients such as horse owners, trainers, veterinarians, breeders, and equestrian facilities. You will actively travel to barns, events, and trade shows to build relationships, demonstrate products, and achieve sales targets.

Core Responsibilities

Sales & Client Management

  • Prospect, generate leads, and build long-lasting relationships with clients.
  • Present products clearly, highlight benefits, and close sales.
  • Manage key accounts and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.

Product Expertise

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of equestrian tack, nutrition, supplements, health products, and competitors.
  • Provide expert recommendations tailored to each client's needs.

Marketing & Events

  • Attend shows, exhibitions, and equestrian events.
  • Set up booths, conduct product demos, and support marketing campaigns.

Customer Service

  • Deliver excellent after-sales support.
  • Resolve inquiries or issues promptly and collect feedback for improvement.

Operations

  • Manage inventory and stock levels.
  • Assist with ordering and purchasing.
  • Maintain professional shop presentation and handle basic administrative tasks.

    Prospecting, negotiation, strategic selling, and deal closing.

    Clear, confident, and engaging with diverse customers.
  • Passion for Horses:
    Genuine enthusiasm for equestrian sports, breeds, and care.

    Ability to manage multiple accounts, travel regularly, and meet goals.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in equestrian sales or the horse industry.
  • Background working with tack, feed, supplements, or veterinary products.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
