Role Description

We are looking for Western educated Charge Nurse role located in Doha, Qatar. The Charge Nurse will oversee daily nursing operations for their assigned unit, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient-centered care. Responsibilities include managing nursing staff workflow, prioritizing care based on clinical needs, and ensuring adherence to hospital policies and best practices. The Charge Nurse will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans, mentor junior staff, and maintain compliance with safety and quality standards. Additionally, the role involves addressing patient concerns and supporting operational excellence within the unit.

Qualifications

  • Leadership and team management skills, including staff coaching, workflow coordination, and delegation.
  • Strong clinical expertise in patient care planning, prioritization, and assessment.
  • Proficiency in compliance with healthcare regulations, quality standards, and safety protocols.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency with healthcare technologies, including electronic health records and patient monitoring systems.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN); relevant certifications or licenses as per Qatar requirements.
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a hospital or clinical setting is highly preferred.
  • Commitment to upholding ethical and professional nursing standards in a multicultural healthcare environment.
