ELV Enginner

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented ELV (Extra-Low Voltage) Engineer to support the operations and maintenance of ELV systems within a major Facilities Management project in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and hands-on experience managing ELV systems in a facilities management environment.

• Oversee the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of ELV systems including CCTV, access control, fire alarm, BMS, public address, and structured cabling systems.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and compliance with safety standards.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for maintenance, upgrades, and repairs.
• Analyze system performance data and recommend improvements or upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, international standards, and client requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including system schematics, maintenance logs, and incident reports.
• Support integration of ELV systems with other building management systems.
• Provide technical support and training to FM staff and end-users.

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an ELV Engineer role within the Facilities Management field.
• CFM (Certified Facility Manager) certification is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ELV systems and their integration with building infrastructure.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as NFPA, BS, and local regulations.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and ELV-related software.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience in the Middle East, particularly Qatar, is an advantage.
