We are seeking a passionate and customer-focused Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be the face of our coffee shop, responsible for delivering an exceptional experience for every customer. You will craft high-quality coffee and espresso beverages, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and help create a warm, inviting atmosphere. Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve coffee and espresso drinks: Brew coffee, make espresso drinks, and prepare other beverages (e.g., lattes, cappuccinos, cold brews) according to our standards.
  • Customer Service: Greet customers with a friendly attitude, take their orders, and ensure satisfaction throughout their experience.
  • Cash Handling: Accurately handle cash and credit transactions, process payments, and give correct change.
  • Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the coffee bar, kitchen, and dining area clean and organized. Regularly sanitize equipment and surfaces.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with the stocking and ordering of supplies (e.g., coffee beans, milk, cups, syrups).
  • Team Collaboration: Work alongside other baristas, kitchen staff, and managers to ensure smooth operation during peak hours.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of our menu offerings and recommend products to customers based on preferences.
  • Monitor Coffee Quality: Ensure the proper grind, water temperature, and brewing time to create high-quality coffee and espresso drinks.
  • Handle Special Requests: Accommodate customer dietary preferences or restrictions, such as dairy-free or gluten-free options.
  • Maintain Safety Standards: Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous barista experience preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge: Basic understanding of coffee brewing methods and espresso machines is a plus.
  • Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time
