automotive tehnician

Looking for skilled and competent Automotive technician to perform dealership level maintenance and repair services on customer vehicles, with high quality standards. Must be able to contribute to the required overall productivity and efficiency of the team and workshop.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Must be able to perform and complete on time OEM recommended Preventive Maintenance and repair procedures.

• Report additional work required.

• Able to properly complete the information required in a Repair Order.

• Able to use OEM Service/ Repair Manuals.

• Able to read Wiring Diagrams and use multimeters.

• Able to use correctly basic and precise automotive measuring tools

• Able to perform and complete mechanical running repairs on brakes, suspension, engine.

• Must know how to use battery tester, 4-wheel alignment machine, tire balancing and tire replacements.

• Basic knowledge on electricals and air-conditioning

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• ITI/ ITC/NVQ/ Vocational Courses in Automotive/ Diploma in Automotive Technology/ Diploma in Automobile Engineering

• Preferably with at least 2 years full time experience in an Automotive Dealership set-up or 5 years' experience in a refutable Automotive Service Center.

• Both mechanical and electrical basic skills required.

• Able to use safely and correctly basic automotive tools, instruments, and equipment.

• PC skills

• Must be able to understand, communicate, and write in English.
