In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the electrical aspects of road operations and maintenance projects, ensuring the safety and efficiency of our transportation infrastructure.Design, implement, and maintain electrical systems for road infrastructure, including lighting, traffic signals, and power distribution networksConduct site inspections and assessments to identify electrical issues and propose solutionsDevelop and review technical specifications, drawings, and project documentationCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems in road projectsManage and coordinate with contractors and suppliers for electrical installations and maintenanceEnsure compliance with local and international electrical codes and safety standardsParticipate in project planning and budgeting for electrical components of road O&M projectsTroubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues in existing road infrastructureProvide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and techniciansStay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in road electrical systemsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical EngineeringMinimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in road infrastructure projectsProfessional Engineer (PE) certification preferredProficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD softwareStrong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices, particularly in road infrastructure and O&MExperience with road lighting systems, traffic signals, and other electrical components of road infrastructureFamiliarity with project management tools and techniquesIn-depth understanding of electrical codes and safety standardsExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentWillingness to travel to project sites within Qatar as neededAdditional Information
