Run what runs the world.This Position reports to:Project Manager, PAENYour role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as the technical lead for all engineering activities in assignments. Each day, you will ensure the activities related to all engineering disciplines within the project are executed in an efficient and cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by acting as a design authority for a particular engineering discipline and completing the corresponding engineering assignments.The work model for the role is: Onsite.This role is contributing to the Projects and Services of PAEN in Qatar. Main stakeholders are Project team, Project Manager and Service Delivery Manager.You will be mainly accountable for:Collaborating on project installation, commissioning, and site activities, to clarify potential issues or provide solutions to rectify the engineering errors.Coaching the project engineers and designers on the translation of conceptual designs to engineering documentation, including modelling, prototyping, and calculations.Leading, supervising, and coordinating teams (less than 10 members) in all engineering disciplines (both in-house and outsourced) on projects.Applying design thinking or design for excellence concepts in projects, including modelling, prototyping, simulation, and calculations. Our team dynamics You will join a dynamic and high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.Qualifications for the role Graduate Engineer in Electrical/ Electronic/ instrumentation EngineeringYou are immersed in / engaged in / absorbed in / highly skilled in/ you enjoy working with 800xA, AC800M, AC800M HI, Infi90 and Symphony systems and the Oil & Gas / Power & Water marketMust have minimum 12 years of experience of which at least 8 years as customer support / project / service engineer of System 800xA based 800M / 800mHI / Infi90 / Symphony systems preferably in Oil & Gas / Power & Water industryMultidiscipline supportEffective utilization of service contractsWorking in service projects and major projects for system 800xA based ICSSTeam Size: Lead Engineer with 5 to 10 virtual reports as per project execution organogram. (No line management)Rendering technical validation of design solutions in medium and complex projectsGood hands-on experience as Project Lead for system 800xA based control system (both hardware and software) with 9800M/ nfi90 / symphony Plus / system 800xA -based application development - project & commissioningHands own experience in system installation and maintenanceHands on Experience in Industrial networking, network switch configurationHands on experience in Cyber security solutions for 800xA systems. Able to do cybersecurity audits and assessments, Cyber security implementation experienceBe an analytical thinker, self-starter, resilient and highly adaptable- in line with ABB's latest advance service & digital portfolioHands on Experience in industrial communication protocols like Modbus- RTU & TCP, OPC.Be able to work under pressure, handle stress and have the ability to use own initiativeHighly adaptive, analytic and quick learner - inline with ABB's latest advance service & digital portfolioGiving training to customersWorking in offshore installed baseWhat's in it for you?
