mselect is looking to hire a Senior Instrument Engineer for a national oil and gas operator in Doha, Qatar. Candidates must have a minimum of 15 years of instrument technical professional experience in the upstream oil and gas industry. Fluency in English is a must.Key ResponsibilitiesReview instrument engineering deliverables for both greenfield and brownfield projects associated with the client's Asset Organization (IS), prepared by engineering consultantsPrepare engineering deliverables for in-house projectsEnsure efficient project implementation and proactive facility improvementsUphold Technical Integrity in accordance with client Standards and Shell DEP, specifically for instrumentation discipline related to the client's surface facilitiesRequirementsBachelor's degree in engineering in Instrument Measurement & Control (or equivalent)Chartered Engineer/Professional Engineer status or equivalent is preferable15 years of instrument technical professional experience in the upstream oil and gas industry, that include a minimum of 7 years in facilities design (front-end, conceptual, and detailed design) and a minimum of 2 years in project execution (including construction and commissioning) and operation and maintenance (including field troubleshooting)Skill in field instrumentation design engineering and construction/execution (including construction and commissioning)Knowledge of operations and maintenance activitiesKnowledge of relevant oil & gas HSE regulations including procedures and instructions Full understanding of HSSE & SP management principles and their applicationFamiliar with international standards API, ISA, IEC, etc as well as Shell DEP standards and proceduresGood communication skills and interpersonal ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams Aptitudes for taking initiative are preferred*Only applicants meeting the strict criteria outlined above will be contacted as part of the shortlisting process.BH-MS1011 Bounty Hunter World
