Job Purpose Summary::

The incumbent will support QNB’s international growth strategy, by leading a multi team effort that will identify acquisition objectives in the various target markets targeted in the strategy. These targets if approved will then be steered by the M&A team through the acquisition process together with the Senior Management team and the various functions from due diligence through to completion of acquisition/merger.

Education & Experience Requirements::

Bachelor/ Master degree University Graduate/preferred with a Major in Marketing, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or Information Technology (related field of study At least 18years of relevant experience, preferably within a highly rated international bank. Professional certification such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CA, CMA, CFA etc. is a plus. Minimum of 10-15 years’ experience in M&A especially buy side.

Required Special Skills::

Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Arabic (preferred). Good interpersonal and presentation skills. Understanding of the relevant laws, regulations, and practices. Knowledge of financial reporting processes and related pronouncements, including but not limited to IFRS, IAS etc. Well-developed analytical and interpersonal skills. Ability to deliver under pressure. Ability to build relationships across the organization to deliver results.
