The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting, and customer billing. They will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
  • Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end close
  • Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes
  • Research and analyze expense variances for company management

Expertise and Experience:

1.At least 6-8 years of work experience in the accounting and finance department.

2.Bachelors or Masters in Commerce and Inter CA qualified

3.Well versed with accounting principles and their application

4.Good with MS Office (Excel and Power Point)

5.Accounting Software: Tally ERP, Peach Tree, Focus, others

6.Accounts finalization, accruals and provisions

Engagement:

7.Treasury and cash flow management

8.Accounts team management

9.Client and vendor management

10.Head of department and facility management

11.Bank relationship management.

Reports:

12.Monthly financial performance report with key achievements

13.Adhoc reports upon request from HOD / Management

15.Project / department cashflow projections and planning

Banking Scope:

16.Preparation of proposal for project finance support

17.Preparation of projected project profitability and cashflow for banks

18.Loans and facility repayment management

19.New loan & facility application.

20. Preparing, collation and attending queries raised by banks for renewing facilities and for fresh loan application.

Audit:

21.ICV Audit (data collation, working and handling queries raised by the external auditors)

22.Statutory Audit (data finalization, review and presentation to auditors and adhering to the queries raised by external auditors).
