Job Description:

The Four Seasons Resort and Residences is looking for Accounts Payable to join our talented amazing team Don't miss this unique opportunity to join our team and be part of the world's leading luxury hotel company.

Essential Functions:

The Accounting office structure may vary and responsibilities will be adapted as required.
Processing of payments and financial transactions to suppliers and obtaining goods and services from suppliers. Receive, process, and verify invoices. Authorize and schedule payments to vendors. Maintain accurate records of transactions. Manage vendor relationships (negotiate payment terms, resolve disputes, ensure timely payments) Maintain harmonious and professional relationship with all departments and Home Office.

The responsibilities of this position include overseeing and supervising the operation of the Accounts Payable functions within the department, and monitoring of the process for payment according to Four Seasons Hotels Limited policies and procedures. As an integral member of the accounting team, individual will assist with the timely completion of month-end deadlines and reporting.

Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for managing the organization's financial obligations by accurately processing and recording invoices, expenses, and other financial transactions. This role ensures timely and accurate payments to vendors while maintaining compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.

Receive and review invoices for accuracy and completeness. Match invoices with purchase orders and delivery receipts. Code and enter invoices into the accounting system. Prepare and process electronic and manual payments. Verify payment terms and schedule payments in accordance with due dates. Reconcile payment transactions and resolve discrepancies. Maintain relationships with vendors and address inquiries regarding invoices and payments. Ensure vendor accounts are up to date and accurate. Negotiate payment terms with vendors when necessary. Review and process employee expense reports. Ensure expenses comply with company policies and relevant regulations. Comply with and enforce Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact. Assist in other areas of the accounting office as needed. Understand and possess a working knowledge of the Accounting & Finance Manual Good understanding of Month-End Process, including but not limited to preparation of financial statements, accruals and journal entries, maintain reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts in established corporate formats and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principals. Understand the current Edition of USALI. Prepare and coordinate the monthly reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts and all bank reconciliations, ensuring all outstanding reconciling items are investigated and resolved satisfactorily.
