Key Responsibilities:

Provide health care tothe employees through regular health monitoring assessment,management and documentation of occupational and non-occupationalillness and injury with the help of the external health providers.

Provide first aid assistance and actively assists in medicalemergencies.

Monitor employees for fitness to work and advise onrestrictions for activities based on the Lafarge HASOP (HealthAssessment Standard Operating Procedures).

Submission ofOccupational Health Monthly Reports Conduct investigations onoccupational health illnesses that could be aggravated by the workenvironment.

Assist in the monitoring and control of occupationalhealth risks such as WBV (Whole Body Vibration), HAV (Hand-ArmVibration), COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health), HeatStress, Manual Handling/Ergonomics, Food and General WelfareProvisions.

Conduct weekly and monthly accommodation inspectionswith the Plant Supervisors and regularly assist with and reportupon progress with actions. To ensure that Fire Safety Logbook inhis area of scope is fully maintained and complied with.

To bringto the attention of the Health & Safety Management anyareas of concern which appear not to be properly addressed by thelocal management team.

Compiling and delivering health relatedtoolbox talks and other necessary trainings as required. Maintainconfidentiality on employees' medical conditions as pergroup and Lafarge Policies.
