Restaurant Guest Relations Officer / Customer Service Officer / Guest Experience Expert

Salary

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Warmly welcome guests upon arrival and ensure a smooth and pleasant checkin process.
  • Engage with guests during their dining experience, addressing inquiries and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Identify and cater to the needs of VIP guests, providing personalized and attentive service.
  • Build relationships with repeat customers, remembering their preferences and offering personalized experiences to enhance their loyalty to the establishment.
  • Handle reservations efficiently, including confirming bookings and managing table assignments. Oversee the seating and waitlist management to ensure efficient and equitable distribution of guests among servers. Strive to minimize wait times while maintaining a balanced workload for the restaurant staff.
  • Utilize product knowledge to suggest menu items, specials, and promotions, aiming to enhance guests' dining experiences and increase overall sales.
  • Proactively seek feedback from guests about their dining experiences, and actively listen to their suggestions and concerns. Compile and analyze feedback data to identify areas for improvement and share insights with the management team.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and conduct ongoing training programs for restaurant host staff, focusing on enhancing guest engagement, customer service skills, and problemsolving abilities.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of special events, promotions, and themed nights to create excitement and attract more guests to the restaurant.
  • Stay uptodate with industry trends, customer service best practices, and hospitality technology innovations to continuously improve the guest experience.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports to the management team, highlighting key performance metrics, guest feedback, and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a guest relations or customer service role within the hospitality industry.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect and build rapport with diverse groups of people.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
  • Excellent organizational abilities to manage reservations and special occasions.
  • Exceptional problemsolving abilities and the capacity to handle challenging situations with a positive attitude.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations, menu items, and culinary offerings to assist guests in their selections.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and a commitment to going above and beyond to exceed expectations.
  • Flexibility to work in a fastpaced, highenergy environment, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Salary:
