Promote the rules and regulations of the recreation facilityintended for the safety and welfare of guests and members. Observeactivity in the recreational facility and respond appropriately inaccordance with local operating procedure in the event of anemergency. Be aware of possible situations where guests are notable to safely participate in an activity and informsupervisor/manager. Provide assistance to injured guests until thearrival of emergency medical services. Clean and maintainrecreational equipment and supplies. Assist management in training,motivating, and coaching employees; serve as a role model. Reportaccidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager;complete safety training and certifications. Follow companypolicies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance isclean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietaryinformation; protect company assets. Anticipate and addressguests' service needs; assist individuals withdisabilities. Speak with others using clear and professionallanguage; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Developand maintain positive working relationships with others. Processorders or transactions from customers and collect payment asnecessary. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards;identify, recommend, and implement new ways to increaseorganizational quality. Read and visually verify information in avariety of formats (e.g., small print). Visually inspect tools,equipment, or machines (e.g., to identify defects). Enter andlocate work-related information using computers and/or point ofsale systems. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time orfor an entire work shift.
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and placeobjects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistanceand objects weighing in excess of 50 pounds with assistance.
Grasp,turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiringfine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Move through narrow,confined, or elevated spaces. Move over sloping, uneven, orslippery surfaces as well as up and down stairs and/or serviceramps. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending,twisting, pulling, and stooping.
