Munitions Operations Technician

  • Consistently observes and enforcesall USAF and host nation explosives safety, AFOSH and securitystandards during all explosives and non-explosives operations inassigned sites and temporary dutylocations.
  • Uses TICMS to the maximum extentpossible and reports system discrepancies asrequired.
  • Assists personnel in the training anduse of TICMS.
  • Checks the daily connectivity toTICMS and takes appropriate action to correctproblems.
  • Conducts all munitions work accordingto established quality processes, identifies potential problems andrecommends root-cause solutions.
  • Completes allaccountability and historical documentation actions in a timelymanner.
  • Works closely with department personnelto resolve any serviceability and accountability issues notedduring the inspection processes; informs the Superintendent of allproblems.
  • Immediately advises the MunitionsSuperintendent/Munitions Operations Supervisory of any potentialprovlems.
  • Processes and completesaccountable/auditable transactions/documents in a timelymanner.
  • Conducts warehouse inventories andadvises the Superintendent about anydiscrepancies.
  • Works with the ADR process toensure appropriate actions are taken on allassets.
  • Reconciles the ADR file in TICMS;informs the senior person about anyproblems.
  • Assists in developing the masterinspection schedule and in monitoring shelf and service life toensure disposition actions are initiated for all affectedassets.
