Consultant Executive Chef (International Cuisine)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consultant Executive Chef to provide expert culinary guidance and strategic direction for our restaurant.

The Consultant Executive Chef will collaborate with our culinary team to enhance menu offerings, elevate food quality, and drive innovation while ensuring a seamless kitchen operation.


Key Responsibilities:

Culinary Strategy: Develop and implement a culinary strategy that aligns with our restaurant's vision, brand, and goals.

Menu Enhancement: Collaborate with the culinary team to analyze and enhance existing menus, introducing new dishes, ingredients, and presentations.

Quality Assurance: Maintain the highest standards of food quality, taste, and presentation, conducting regular tastings and evaluations.

Culinary Training: Provide specialized training to kitchen staff on advanced techniques, plating, and presentation to elevate their skills and creativity.

Innovation and Trends: Stay abreast of culinary trends, emerging ingredients, and industry innovations, integrating them into menu concepts.

Cost Management: Assist in optimizing food costs, portion control, and inventory management without compromising on quality.

Kitchen Workflow: Evaluate and streamline kitchen workflows for improved efficiency and consistency in food production.

Vendor Relationships: Leverage your network to establish relationships with premium suppliers and negotiate favorable terms.

Culinary Events: Conceptualize and execute special culinary events and promotions to attract and engage customers.

Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards and provide guidance on best practices.

Collaboration: Work closely with management and front-of-house teams to ensure a cohesive and exceptional dining experience.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience as an Executive Chef in highend restaurants or culinary establishments.
  • Proven track record as a culinary consultant, providing strategic guidance to culinary teams.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent culinary certification.
  • Strong creative and innovative culinary skills.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of menu design, culinary trends, and emerging techniques.
  • Business acumen for menu profitability and cost management.
  • Ability to work in diverse culinary environments and adapt to various kitchen setups.
  • Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
  • Passion for continuous learning and a commitment to culinary excellence.
  • Flexibility to work on a project basis and collaborate remotely when required.
