Client - Crypto Hedge Fund Thesis drivendigital asset investment firm, backing the builders of adecentralized future

Key Responsibilities:
Primaryresponsibilities include Operational, Financial and Administrativefunctions for a digital assets investment firm. Reporting will bedirectly to the Director of the Investment. Operations &Administrations

  • Fund Administration – maincontact and oversight with fund admin and accountants for eachentity
  • Management of outsourced legal resources
  • Legal filings and operational management for allentities
  • Support with creation, review and updates oflegal documents such as shareholders' agreements,articles of incorporation, legal agreements, resolutions, waivers,indemnity agreements, NDAs etc.
  • Review/ drafting ofongoing operational legal contracts
  • Review and negotiateinvestment contracts with prospective target investee companies/projects
  • Investment processes, documentation andsubscriptions
  • Investor KYC/AML processes anddocumentation
  • Ongoing reconciliation support for fundinvestment activities with the team and third-party fund admin andaccountants
  • Oversight of monthly, quarterly and annualfund financials and capital statements by third-party fundadministrator
  • Ensure compliance in all areas with legaland other advisors Finance
  • Budgeting, tracking andmanaging cash flows between entities within the fund group
  • Financial analysis and modelling in Excel
  • Tax– work with tax advisors to create and execute requiredfilings, ongoing issue management, strategy and investor documents/ support
  • Audit – hire and manage auditors andaudit processes for required entities
  • Support withongoing reconciliations, valuation efforts, confirmations andmetrics
  • Calculations, oversight and execution of returnsfrom investments
  • Support with waterfall creation anddistributions to investors and Investment Manager's teammembers
  • Banking – oversee accounts, managerelationships, solve issues and execute ongoing transfers
  • Expenses – work with fund admin/accountants totrack and repay expenses through expense tracking platform andcompany credit cards
  • HR – documentation andpayments with employees and consultants, oversee systems andongoing issues Qualification requirements
  • 3+ years ofrelevant experience as a COO or CFO in venture capital, privateequity or corporate finance.
  • Extensive experiencemanaging outsourced resources in the areas of legal, tax,accounting and audit.
  • Successful experience managingfundraising, subscription documents and investor relations.
  • Advanced Internet user.
  • Highly AdvancedMicrosoft Excel proficiency.
  • Familiarity/ Interest indigital assets, cryptocurrencies, blockchain technologies.
  • Fluent English (oral and written). Foreign language aplus. Key Personal Traits & Intangibles

  • Independent thinker /opinionated with ability to defend ideas.
