About this role

  • Coordinates data input, including developing and maintaining tools as needed, from Major Projects Integration, other Major Projects Department Managers and Chief Major Projects Office;
  • Key member of Integration Team, collaboratively working to support overall Integration priorities, with commitment to confidentiality and adaptability to work varied types of tasks with changing priorities;
  • Maintains effective communication with Company project teams and departments to resolve issues requiring initiative, flexibility, and an ability to influence to effectively plan and execute activities;
  • Analyses, compiles, and prepares data for Major Projects, completing complex work tasks with mínimal supervision ensuring clarity in messaging and written communication; ability to produce high quality deliverables to tight deadlines whilst maintaining very high attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Coordinates training of Qatari National Graduates Development Program (NGDP) Trainees and Graduates; maintain and document NGDP staff movements within Major Projects;
  • Develops timely, concise reporting on varied Major Projects Integration activities or other special projects and input to other Major Projects departments, to ensure effective management of activities and delivery of high quality, fitforpurpose work products in required timeframe;
  • Collect, research, evaluate and consolidate internal and external data, including benchmarking, market and/or financial & cost information, and provide concise written summaries for Management reference and utilization;
  • Performs detailed analysis of business processes to ensure clear understanding of all steps and, when required, map or develop flow charts of each process activity, including supporting the development and implementation of continuous improvement processes and workflows to ensure efficient and effective business results (includes implementing Lessons Learned into processes);
  • Special assignments as required to support Major Projects Group activities, ensuring delivery of high quality, fitforpurpose work products in the specified timeframe;
  • Coordinate and administer Major Projects office space utilization for all Major Projects Group, ensuring continued focus on planning and alignment with Project Teams for rampup and rampdown personnel demands, including interfaces for all Company functional support teams (Facilities, Information Technology, Telecom, etc.);
  • Lead and provide visible safety leadership through active participation in Project Safety Programs and demonstrate high integrity, sensitivity, and effective communication in all dealings in a multicultural environment.

  • 8 years' experience in Project Coordination, including corporate/strategic exposure and demonstrable ability to proactively resolve issues by developing effective solutions independently; planning and execution experience, as well as business management/financial experience preferred;
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
