Other key responsibilities of this role are to define the data validation process through quality assurance and testing framework and contribute towards the architecture, building, deployment and testing of enterprise data warehouses, data structures (such as data marts and data lakes); to support exploratory data analysis, statistical analysis, and predictive analytics, and machine learning models.


Qualifications:

Education and Experience Requirements

Education

  • Bachelors degree in IT or related field is required
  • Masters degree and/or professional certification is preferred
Experience

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in mining, analyzing, synthesizing, cleansing and presenting data from Higher Education Systems; and data analytics platforms, preferably Microsoft Power BI.
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in the implementation of business intelligence solutions in the Higher Education Sector.
  • Experience with transformation/ETL processes; possess knowledge of data attributes, data governance, quality, maintenance, and visualization best practices; leverage different best practices as needed.
  • Proficient in data sourcing, predictive analytics, modeling, simulation, dashboard development and data visualization (e.g., MS Power BI, Tableau, QlickView).
  • Experience in developing presentations and presenting to various stakeholder groups including management.
  • Possess ability to identify data quality issues, patterns, options, visualize findings and communicate insights.
