Responsible for the implementation of all hotel operational procedures and systems by ensuring quality and accuracy of database.

  • Must have a clear insight of all hotel operational procedures and systems to solve any eventual problems that may occur.
  • Ensure effective utilization of guest profiles and consistent delivery of guest preferences.
  • Maintains strong relationship and goodwill with regular guests and local patrons.
  • Practices and promotes effective and timely recovery of guest complaint situations.
  • Ensures all amenities are delivered, observe, and highlights service areas which can be improved to maximize guest value for money.
  • Monitors performance of hotel operational personnel to ensure all guests receive prompt, efficient and personal service.
  • Ensures all team members are fully conversant with hotel's facilities, services and room configuration.
  • Coordinates and followsup on special guest and setups.
  • Conducts departmental expense through proper analysis and planning of manpower needs, purchases, and usage of materials and supplies.
  • Support the Night Audit in his nightly work.
  • Run all night audit procedures and print all necessary reports.
  • Performs night audit duty when required.
  • Maintains smooth hotel operations by attending to guest complaints, requests, and inquiries.
  • Responsible for preparing room revenue forecasts.
  • Ensures that the hotel has optimal occupancy and average room rate.
  • Participates in establishing pricing strategies in consultancy with the General Manager and Sales and Marketing Manager.
  • Participates in the preparation of Public Relations and Sales and Marketing activities.
  • To be fully aware of facilities, activities, and special promotions offered in the hotel.
  • Communicates and develops a high level of competency and knowledge of marketing programs among team members.
  • Monitors all hotel reservations in order to have a final check of anticipated business.
  • Ensures guest credit matters are handled properly and in consultation with the Financial Controller where appropriate.
  • Controls credit limits of open balances and takes proper action to avoid uncollectable credits.
  • To be fully conversant of the reservation system of the hotel.
  • Properly analyzes and approves discounts and rebates.
  • Makes regular quality control inspection within each department
  • Agrees and maintains quality service standards in conjunction with hotel policies and guidelines.
  • Responsible for the control and issue of the materials and equipment, maintenance of records of same, and to ensure secure and safe storage.
  • Have and maintain effective communication with other Department Heads or Line Managers.
  • Adheres to set procedures for attendance and timekeeping.
  • To carry out other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the General Manager or Senior Management.

From QAR9,000.00 per month
