Qatar Airways are excited to be launching a new opportunity to join our Talent and Development team as an E-Learning Instructional Design Specialist.


Other operational duties will include:

  • Analyzing learning aims and objectives and working with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design learning & development (digital & blended) solutions
  • Application of instructional design theories and practicing development of storyboard and design conceptualization. Revise and rewrite content to ensure employee learning and development needs are defined.
  • Incorporating multimedia assets such as: audio, video, animation, demonstration, and simulation. Development of a varied range of assessment items to test learning objectives.
  • Demonstrating expertise in developing a range of instructional materials, including: eLearning, Virtual Learning, references guide, scenario case studies, assessments and evaluations.
  • Discussing ideas for images, graphics and animations with eLearning team before proceeding with development.
  • Production and effective review of wellwritten storyboards, audio and video scripts to produce high quality course assets.
  • Effective cooperation with colleagues to create compelling and engaging learning and development deliverables.
  • Planning and recording time, meeting deadlines and managing multiple projects at a time with internal and external customers and partners.
  • Identify projects risks and manage them in consultation with line manager.
  • Working with SMEs to script, storyboard, develop, produce and review and implement learning and development (digital & blended) solutions.
  • Liaise with technology teams to ensure smooth implementation.
  • Support line management in measuring the impact of releasing the solution/deliverable based on agreed KPIs and success criteria.

Qualifications:

About You

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent,
  • Minimum 57 years of jobrelated experience,
  • Instructional design qualifications,
  • Expertise in learningexperience design,
  • Indepth understanding of adaptive and mobileresponsive design principles,
  • Experience in managing complex projects,
  • Solid interpersonal skills,
  • Critical eye for detail,
  • Logical approach to fault finding, developing solutions and taking corrective actions,
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills,
  • Comfortable in working with new technology, learning management system and analytical tools,
  • Experience in working in a multicultural environment,
  • Expertise working with elearning tools, such as Articulate, Captivate; Adobe Suite, as well as productivity tools.
Preferred qualifications (Not essential but good to have)

  • Aviation or IT or Training industry experience,
  • Experience with elearning authoring tools.
