Workingwith the local Area Manager the Account Manager is responsible forgrowing the business maintaining the current customers andexecuting sales plan assigned within a defined Area and/orIndustry. The Account Manager will sell the full portfolio ofproducts and services using and coaching Strategic Sellingtechniques and the Value Delivery model. Other projects/activitiesmay be assigned to the Account Manager based on experiencedevelopment & business needs. The Account Manager isexpected to be focussed on large sales opportunities and lead theopportunities in Refinery Chemical and Petrochemical UpstreamProduction Desalination Power Industry within the assignedArea.

EssentialResponsibilities EHS &Compliance

  • Workin a safe manner always when delivering company objectives andcomply with internal legislative and customer EHS requirements andpolicies.
  • Act always incompliance with the Veolias policies when maintaining anddeveloping relationships withcustomers

Commercial

  • Meetor exceed key metrics for assigned targets and/or other projectactivities.
  • Drive newsales activity to achieve sales and growthtargets
  • Personally lead& close opportunities in HPI CPI Power UpstreamDesalination within the assigned Area working with all theappropriate resources e.g. Product Applications Growth LeaderTechnical Marketing & Area Salesteams.
  • Develop &maintain healthypipeline.
  • Ensure allopportunity commercial deals meet the Company profitabilityexpectations
  • Accuratelyforecast to the AreaManager.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • BScDegree Chemical Engineering Industrial Engineering orsimilar.
  • Availability totravel within assigned Area and abroad including overnightstops.
  • Possession ofdriving license
  • Fluency inEnglish DesiredCharacteristics
  • Proventrack record of successfully developing and closing largeopportunities in HPI CPI PowerDesalination
  • Comfortableselling and presenting to medium/high levels within the Customeroperation.
  • Excellentorganisational communication & interpersonalskills
  • Ability tonegotiate successfully with Economic buyers and Procurementpersonnel.
  • Minimum 10years Water & Process treatment experience and direct salessuccess in HPI &CPI.
  • Highly agile and ableto work successfully in a matrixorganisation.
  • Strongcustomer focus salesmentality
  • Toolsproficiency with PC skills including proficiency in MS Word ExcelPowerPoint
