OPERATIONS

  • Supporting the chairman of clinical departments in aspects of operational management.
- use clinical knowledge and expertise to facilitate the development and monitoring of key performance indicators

  • Facilitate the chairs in medical manpower planning and workforce utilization modelling in conjunction with medical performance management framework.
- develop and monitor the compliance to key performance indicators including access/ waiting time, quality standards; focusing on 'customer care' and continuous compliance with the relevant accerdiation standards.
- to provide expertise, support, training and adice in compliance to corporate and departmental clinical governance standards. to ensure recommendations from the quality council are implemented.
- provide adivce on patient safety, clinical risk and clinical governance issuea at all staff as required.
- to provide support in ensuring that all staff have an understanding of corporate incident and risk managament arrangement and there is adherence to those policies.
- support the clinical leads by ensuring that performance information is collated to provide a service perspective of incidents trends followed by the implementatio and review of actions plans to ensure change is implemented.
- monitor the compliance and implementation of reccomendations issued by the AMOC and risk management committee and report on progress to the chair and the medical director's office. to ensure that all recommendations arising from clinical investigations are implemented and sustained.

  • Assist is resolving complaints/ concerns that are relayed from the patient and visitor center in line with the corporate policy.
  • To assist the clinical department to develop clear service vision and strategy for the department that is closely alligned with the hospital and corporate objectives.
  • To assit the clinical department to develop and implement an annual departmental service plan in association with the Head/ chairman and key staff within the departments in alignment with the strategic objectives and vision of the hospital.
  • To assist the clinical department in service improvement projects that will deliver sustained improvements in the efficiency and effectiveness of the services.
  • To assist the clinical department in the development, implementation and monitoring of the department capital programme.
- to assist the clinical department in preparing business cases for the procurement process for all stock and capital items in close collaboration with the ED of the hospital.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

STAFF MANAGEMENT

  • To assist clinical department to develop integrated workforce plans which ar ein lince with the department service development plan and which supports the Qatarisation programme
  • To ensure that all staff has their annual appraisal and that objective are set and personal development needs identified and reviewed in accordance with HR policy
  • Ensure appropriate arrangements are in place to manage sickness absense in accordance with Healthcare policy.
  • To assist the clinical department to develop recuritment and retention intiatives that include succession planning and manpower reviews.

COMMUNICATIONS

  • Ensure effective arrangements are in place to communicate both operations and business/ strategic issues to all staff.
  • Involve staff in the planning, implementation and evaluation of services improvement intiatives.
  • Develop amongst all staff an understanding and appreciation of the hospital and department targets and business onjectives, Corporate responsibilites.
  • Contribute to to the achievement of healthcare vision, mission, and objectives.
  • Partake in corporate committees and/ or service improvement projects where necessary.
  • Project Scheduling.
  • Strategic Planning & Analysis
  • Conferences, Extra Training, Volunteering, Certifications, Etc.)
  • Generate and distribute management reports in accurate and timely manner.
  • Develops MIS documentation to allow for smooth operations and easy system maintenance.
  • Provide recommendations to update current MIS to improve reporting efficiency and consistency.
  • Develop and implement MIS policies to ensure data accuracy and security
  • Conduct detailed RCA (Root cause analysis) for continuous improvement for all customer experience related bottle necks.
  • Uses initiative to find suitable solutions that benefit the customer and the business

Salary:
QAR14, QAR16,000.00 per month

Experience:

  • Management in acute healthcare: 6 years (required)
