Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical and sales support for accounts in assigned territory.
  • Direct account and partner responsibilities for selected accounts in assigned territory.
  • Assist with the development of formal sales plans and proposals for assigned opportunities.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and design effective solutions
  • Deliver technical presentations for customers, partners and prospects.
  • Keep uptodate on the market, competitive solutions, products and services.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Indepth knowledge of routing and switching technologies is highly desirable.
  • Baseline SE skills in at least one of the following areas of specialization: Security, Unified Communications, Data Centre and Wireless.
  • Cisco certification of CCIE is preferred along with proven experience
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, and strong presentation skills
  • Proven ability to drive adoption of Cisco technology solutions through channel partners, and into customers.
  • Ability to work efficiently, make valuable contributions as a team member and assume a proactive approach to their career
  • Public Sector experience in Qatar is preferrable

Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components.

For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco pays at the standard rate of 1% of incentive target for each 1% revenue attainment against the quota up to 100%.

Once performance exceeds 100% quota attainment, incentive rates may increase up to five times the standard rate with no cap on incentive compensation.

For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
