RoleandResponsibilities

We are looking for a Junior Finance Analyst to join our agile teamin the Middle East region. In this role you will be based in Dohasupporting mainly our existing operations in Qatar and supportingdevelopment in other ME operations.
In this role you willact as business partner to the Middle East Finance Manager andinteracting on regular basis with CAE International teams. The roleprovides excellent opportunity for individuals with proactivethinking and willingness to develop skills in various financeareas.

KeyTasks
  • Participatein the monthend close process in Oracle R12HFM
  • Participate inproviding accounting analysis support to the business units onvarious accounting issues
  • Prepare monthly P&L balance sheet and cash flow varianceanalysis;
  • Interact with thedifferent groups (Tax Treasury internal audit corporate) to respondto ad hoc inquiries
  • Consulton new or changing business transactions to ensure properaccounting treatment consistent with the globalbusiness
  • Ensure allstandard processes and policy are applied and all transactions arecorrectly recorded
  • Participate in special projects in collaboration with otherteams
  • Participate in thefinancial forecasting and financial performance analysis for MEsubregion
  • Participate inthe establishment of the annualbudget
  • Maintain and developfinancial models and identify document and communicate risks andbusiness opportunities related toforecasts
  • Be responsiblefor the preparation of various financial reports and presentationsfor senior management.
  • Maintain financial forecasts reports and KPItracking
  • Participate inpreparation of local taxreturns
  • Any other tasks orduties as agreed with FinanceManager
Qualifications andexperience
  • Theideal candidate will hold a professional accountancy qualification(e.g. ACCA or CIMA or similar certification) and have preferably 1to 3 years experience in a financial analystrole.
  • Have experience ofpreparing and consolidating of accurate and timely monthly andquarterly financialreports.
  • Have experience ormanaging the monthend close process in Oracle R12HFM
  • Strong knowledge andexperience in management and financeskills.
  • Ability toimplement Best Practice in an expandingbusiness.
  • Ability tocommunicate effectively with seniormanagement.
  • Ability to workto tight deadlines andprioritise.
  • Ability tounderstand complex accounting and financial issues and providerecommendations on accounting treatment to corporate and localmanagement.
  • Knowledge ofMiddle East culture and specifics will be aplus.
  • Proficient Microsoftskills (Excel Outlook WordProject).
  • DetailOriented.
  • Ability to workindependently.
  • Able to workin team environment.
  • Fluency inEnglish
