The role of Application Specialist isresponsible for providing technical and clinical support onDermatology and Aesthetic Medical Devices throughout the salesprocess and support promoting medical devices to customers,demonstrating device specifications and performance features, andcontrolling its parameters in accordance with the vendor'sManual and specifications.

Responsibilities canrange from presales demonstrations to post sales training andinstallation along with end user support including onsite visits todrive more proactive customer engagement toproducts.

They must be knowledgeable aboutmedical device data interfaces in order to provide customer andhands-on support for products with optimum operation, smoothnavigation, and control.

An applicationspecialist will report directly to the specialty manager and workin collaboration with the commercial team.

KEYRESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generatehigh quality technical collateral that promotes the scientificcapabilities of the products with an emphasis on providing a totalsolution for the customer and identify potentialcustomers.
  • Serve as principal point of contactfor customers with regard to the equipment's features andparameters queries/issues.
  • Memorizing productfeatures and presenting their functionalities to customers usingapplicable medical terminology.
  • Perform testingto evaluate new processes, and during new equipment'sinstallation and its related softwareimplementation.
  • Exhibit product expertiseduring customer support and clinicaltraining.
  • Work in coordination with the serviceunit team to determine nature of the clinical equipmentproblem.
  • Understands customers by proactivelygathering information to learn about their needs andexpectations.
  • Create of reports on the resultsof demonstrations, regular feedback about the needs and level ofend user's satisfaction.
  • Communicatecustomer information and problems as well as opportunities to salesteam.
  • Collaborate with service team and qualityassurance in determining equipment related problems root causes andset corrective actions. Track vendor related issues from discoveryto completion.
  • Ensure that the Project Teammaintains a high-quality service and on time delivery of projectoutputs for the client.
  • Follows establishedprocesses in order to efficiently deliver high qualityservice.
  • Analyze competitor product andhighlight our products features tocustomers.
  • Contributes to processes andsupports business strategy.
  • Coordinate withsales team in pre- and post-sales support tocustomers.
  • Proven propensity to learn newtechnologies.
  • Organize and deliver trainingthrough candidate screening workshops, forums andseminars.
  • Coordinate with service team andproject management team for training sessions at customerinstallation sites.
  • Manage all companyequipment in good and orderlycondition.
  • Develops in-depth technical productcompetency.
  • Able to work closely within ateam.
  • Maintain existing customer network andinform customers of upgrades or new productlines.
